Versus CMT is a newly launched nonprofit organization founded in June 2026 with a mission focused on accelerating research for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and inherited neuropathies.

As donations and partnerships grow, funds will be strategically allocated toward some of the most promising CMT research efforts around the world. Support will primarily be distributed in the form of research grants designed to help scientists and laboratories cover the enormous costs associated with research, including equipment, laboratory supplies, biological materials, and support for employees, researchers, and PhD students working directly on the disease.

In the future, Nate also plans to interview many of these researchers through The Nate Versus CMT Podcast to help bridge the gap between the scientific community and the families affected by CMT.
